Kenya introduces a dedicated mobile app for faster Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) processing, making pre-travel formalities seamless and user-friendly for visitors.

\nThe ETA is an electronic authorization allowing stays of up to 90 days in Kenya. It applies to all nationalities except for six countries—Burundi🇧🇮, DR Congo🇨🇩, Rwanda🇷🇼, South Sudan🇸🇸, Tanzania🇹🇿, and Uganda🇺🇬. Minors under 16 must also submit an individual ETA application.
\nApplicants are required to provide the following information and documents:
\nFull name, date of birth;
Passport number and expiry date;
Email address and phone number;
Residential address;
Country of residence;
Occupation;
Purpose of visit;
Flight information.

\nTo simplify ETA applications, the Kenyan government has released the Kenya eTA mobile app — currently available exclusively on the Google Play Store. An iOS version is expected to follow, broadening access for all travelers.

Direct upload of required documents (ID photo, passport copy, accommodation proof, etc.);
Real-time application status tracking;
Instant receipt of approval and final ETA document within the app.
