Bahamas: new health protocols before entering the country

As of November 1, 2020, the Bahamas archipelago is adopting new health protocols for entering its territory.

From now on, anyone wishing to visit the archipelago must :
- Submit a negative RT-PCR test dated less than 5 days before arrival in the country.
- A health visa will be required. You can apply on http://www.travel.gov.bs/ Or http://www.bahamas.com/fr/reouverture-des-frontieres
- During your stay, you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire on a daily basis.
- An antigen test will be carried out on the fifth day of your stay.

What's more, as of November 14, all visitors will be required to take out COVID-19 health insurance, which must be requested when applying for a health visa. This insurance will cover you throughout your stay in the Bahamas.

Local authorities will be entitled to impose a nationwide curfew, depending on the health situation. As a reminder, wearing a mask is compulsory, as is respect for social distancing.
