As of November 1, 2020, the Bahamas archipelago is adopting new health protocols for entering its territory.
From now on, anyone wishing to visit the archipelago must :
- Submit a negative RT-PCR test dated less than 5 days before arrival in the country.
- A health visa will be required. You can apply on http://www.travel.gov.bs/ Or http://www.bahamas.com/fr/reouverture-des-frontieres
- During your stay, you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire on a daily basis.
- An antigen test will be carried out on the fifth day of your stay.
What's more, as of November 14, all visitors will be required to take out COVID-19 health insurance, which must be requested when applying for a health visa. This insurance will cover you throughout your stay in the Bahamas.
Local authorities will be entitled to impose a nationwide curfew, depending on the health situation. As a reminder, wearing a mask is compulsory, as is respect for social distancing.
