People who have already had unhappiness lucky enough to be confronted with the complexities of consular procedures with Cameroon will be delighted with their government's announcement: Cameroon will be introducing the e-Visa concept this month.
While some countries take months between announcement and launch, Cameroon has accelerated the project, finally avoiding long queues at the embassy. Appointments used to have to be made, with deadlines more or less respected.
As of today, applications have begun, but no website is yet available. The Beninese company Impact R&D Awards was chosen to implement the system.
Fill in a file from e-Visa CameroonConstruction of the infrastructure for issuing biometric visas has been completed at Yaoundé and Douala international airports, while the deployment of all the appropriate equipment for the new system of secure consular services in Cameroon's diplomatic missions, consular posts and international airports will take place in the coming weeks, to enable it to become operational in July 2022.
