The Ivorian authorities have taken a major step forward. While the country was one of the last on the continent to require a health form - and one that had to be paid for - the Abidjan authorities lifted this restriction on September 13, for vaccinated travellers only. There is therefore no longer any need to obtain a Declaration of Movement by Air.
As the authorities state on the website dedicated to the fire-start: "Airlines are asked to allow all normally vaccinated passengers to travel to Cรดte d'Ivoire without any restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic.”
Only unvaccinated or incompletely vaccinated passengers bound for Cรดte d'Ivoire will be required to submit an air travel declaration accompanied by a negative PCR test.
For Europeans, the electronic visa remains a declaratory requirement, for arrival at Abidjan's Fรฉlix Houphouรซt Boigny international airport only.
