Curfew: Certificate required for airport travel

From December 15, the French government has decided to introduce a curfew from 8pm to 6am for an indefinite period.

Can I fly during curfew?

Despite the curfew, air traffic was not interrupted. For long-distance travellers, transfers to and from stations or airports, or transit-related journeys, night traffic is generally prohibited. In other words, you can travel to the airport during the curfew.

If you need to travel to or from the airport during a curfew period, you will need to present a certificate of exemption as well as a copy of your plane ticket justifying the reason for your trip.

The authorities may also ask you for a health form to ensure that you are traveling without risk to yourself or others. Visamundi can take care of this formality for you, our service offers you a single form common to all countries.

It is also possible to accompany or pick up a person at the airport. The person accompanying the traveler will also need to have a derogation travel attestation, which can be filled out in PDF format or on a blank form, and a copy of the traveler's plane ticket.
