India is dribbling out information about the reissue of its visas for tourists. The Indian Embassy in Iraq has provided more information:
- visit e-Visas and visas are concerned by the reissue
- No overland entry will be possible. Only by air or by boat
- Only the30-day e-Visa will be possible, as a single entry (as opposed to 2 normally)
- Tourism e-Visas issued before October 6, 2021 are still suspended. Future travellers will have to apply for a new e-Visa
- Only people on organized tours/charters can apply for an e-Visa/visa as of October 15. Other travellers must wait for the November 15 2021
- THE First 500,000 visas/e-Visas will be free of consular fees. A person can only benefit fromonce of this free service
