Good news tends to boost travelers' morale. According to the Second Holiday Readiness Report from Thomas Cook India AndSOTC Travelnearly 9 out of 10 Indians expressed an interest in returning to travel. These include, two-thirds even want to leave within 6 months of the constraints being liftedย !
Nearly 2,700 people were questioned about their perceptions in a context of open borders and approaching vaccines. 93% of those surveyed are vigilant about health safety when traveling, even agreeing to spend more money if necessary (73%).
It remains to be seen whether a few new measures to deal with the mutation of the virus will dampen this enthusiasm.
