Kuwait opens its electronic visa to 53 countries

Good news!

As of Wednesday, November 24, 2021, Kuwait began issuing online tourist visas to citizens of 53 countries and certain professionals residing in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman).

This decision is part of the country's strategy to modernize and develop electronic services service sectors, to keep pace with the latest global systems and to facilitate for the general public.

Among these 53 countries, the French can apply for their electronic visa and set off to discover Kuwait!

Good to know:

• travellers must have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival;
• the online visa for Kuwait is a single-entry visa that allows travelers to enter the country for tourism purposes for a maximum stay of 90 days
