Romania has just introduced a recommendation that everyone was denying in collective denial: passengers who have received both doses of Covid-19 vaccine will be exempt from quarantine on arrival. The CNSU proposes this approach for the 48 countries they consider to be at high risk of contagion.
For the time being, compulsory vaccination is not a discriminatory criterion, but it does simplify travelers' lives.
Another case: Sri Lanka prepares the ground. The Indian Ocean country is slowly reopening to international tourism. On its dedicated website Sri Lankan authorities thatat present, no exceptions will be made for vaccinated travelers; all safety protocols must be respected in spite of everything.".
