Soon, 500,000 free visas for India

When travel restrictions for tourists are lifted in India, the first 500,000 tourist visas issued will be free of charge.

This is part of the measures taken by the Ministry of Finance to help boost the country's tourism sector. For the moment, it is not clear whether this measure concerns classic or electronic visas, or both.

Please note that one person is eligible for only one free visa, and the operation will end in March 2022 (if the 500,000 visas are not sold out).

At present, only medical and business visas can be issued.
