In an announcement today, Rwandan President Paul Kagame informed that any African can now travel to Rwanda without having to pay for a visa. This is part of Africa's ongoing efforts to facilitate the free movement of people and trade on the continent.

RwandAir, Rwanda's national airline, has announced the opening of a new direct service between Paris and Kigali from today, June 27, 2023. The French capital thus becomes the ninth European destination served by the Rwandan airline. This new route reflects Rwanda's and Africa's determination to open up to the rest of the world.
