Thailand has an unfortunate reputation for making entry into the country extremely complicated. This improves (slightly) on November 1 with the introduction of the Thailand Pass which will partially replace the Certificate of Entry (COE).
This compulsory document will enable you to upload all the necessary documents (hotel, flight, etc.), which will be processed in 3 days, not by the embassies but by immigration in Thailand. Don't worry if you already have a COE issued for travel before or after November 1: it remains valid.. You'll just have to download the updated document on November 1st.
Vaccinated travellers coming from a low-transmission country, the list of which as of November 1 is below. (editor's note: extended from 46 to 63 countries on 10/30)In the case of the latter, isolation is required only until the results of the PCR performed on arrival have been received, in less than 24 hours. Others should request a 7- or 10-day quarantine, depending on their vaccination status.
