By facilitating access to the state of Goa for international tourists, this airport could encourage an influx of visitors, boosting the local economy through spending on tourism and business travel.<\/p>\n<h2>Gradual extension of e-Visa<\/h2>\n<p>The Indian government is thus aiming to facilitate international travel to its country by gradually expanding the number of entry points eligible for e-Visa.
