For example, the former B211 A/B visa is now a tourism or business visa, while the former B213—which requires a brief in-country micro-procedure upon arrival—is now classified as a visa on arrival.
\n
\n
Foreign nationals and employers should expect processing delays of around five business days during the first week of the system’s rollout, as the platform adapts to the new online system.

\n
Existing online account holders must re-register to access the new platform, a process expected to take about 5 to 10 minutes and requiring a digital ID photo of the signatory. For new users, the setup typically takes around three business days.
\n
This move reflects Indonesia’s ongoing digital transformation of its immigration procedures, aligning with global trends in digitalizing visa services to improve efficiency, security, and migration flow management.
\n
Since last year—excluding several ASEAN countries—most tourists must now obtain a 60-day visa (Tourism Visa, previously B211A), often with supporting financial documentation, or a 30-day Visitor Visa renew-able on arrival (formerly known as the “Visitor Visa”), which remains simpler to acquire but still requires a minor in-country step.
