On February 1, the UK will offer its electronic travel authorization to a number of new nationalities.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>New rules for GCC and Jordanian citizens<\/h2>\n<p>Following a series of changes to visa policies, nationals from certain Middle Eastern countries will now have easier access to the UK for short tourist, business and family stays.<strong> Nationals of Bahre\u00efn\ud83c\udde7\ud83c\udded, Arabia saoudite\ud83c\uddf8\ud83c\udde6, Kowe\u00eft\ud83c\uddf0\ud83c\uddfc, Oman\ud83c\uddf4\ud83c\uddf2, the United Arab Emirates unis\ud83c\udde6\ud83c\uddea and Jordanie\ud83c\uddef\ud83c\uddf4 will no longer need a visit visa to travel to the UK.<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visamundi.co\/en\/blog\/united-kingdom-and-qatari\/\">joining Qatar, which piloted the project last November<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, tourists of all ages will have to obtain an electronic travel permit before they can enter the country. This document will cost \u00a310 (<span class=\"currency-convertor\" data-amount=\"10\" data-currency=\"GBP\">12 &#8364;<\/span>)and will be issued electronically after completion of a <strong>online form<\/strong>. This measure is designed to simplify entry formalities and make the process more convenient for visitors from these countries.<\/p>\n<p>Nationals of these countries will need it to enter the country from <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">February 22, 2024<\/span> but will be able to apply from February 1, 2024. Each ETA is <strong>valid for 2 years<\/strong> and allows multiple entrances to transit or visit the Kingdom on <strong>90 days maximum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content-asset\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Citizens of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan and Bahrain will not need visas for entry into the UK. This amount can be paid by credit or debit card.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wait for e-mail confirmation<\/strong>. The travel permit should be granted quickly if all the conditions are met and the information provided is accurate. Once obtained, simply print out the document and present it to the authorities at customs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Ireland worries about tourism<\/h2>\n<p>The Permanent Secretary of the Northern Ireland Department of the Economy, <strong>Ian Snowden<\/strong>was concerned by this change in the migration policy of its imposing neighbor.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I'm sure that many of you will be concerned about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visamundi.co\/en\/destinations\/united-kingdom\/\">the electronic travel authorization system proposed by the British government<\/a>.
