To facilitate payment, the authorities have developed the <em><strong>Love Bali<\/strong><\/em> and a dedicated mobile application. In this article, we explain how to complete this compulsory procedure, and which categories of travelers can benefit from an exemption.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Love Bali tax payment: simplified instructions<\/h2>\n<p>The tax <em><strong>Love Bali<\/strong><\/em> amounts to approximately <strong>150,000 Indonesian rupiahs <\/strong>or approximately <span class=\"currency-convertor\" data-amount=\"150000\" data-currency=\"IDR\">7 &#8364;<\/span> per person. Its aim is to preserve Balinese customs, traditions, arts and culture, as well as the wisdom of the local community. Funds raised are also used to improve waste management, develop infrastructure and safeguard the island's cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n<p>To pay the tax <em><strong>Love Bali<\/strong><\/em>simply follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to the portal <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lovebali.baliprov.go.id\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Love Bali<\/a><\/strong><\/em> or download the corresponding mobile application (<a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/kw\/app\/love-bali\/id1549605804\">iOS<\/a> Or <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=baliprov.diskominfos.lovebali&amp;hl=fr&amp;gl=US\">Android<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Complete the form with your personal details (surname, first name, nationality, passport number, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Choose your preferred payment method from the following options: VISA, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX, BCA, BPD Bali Channel, mobile bank transfers or Standard Indonesian QR code<\/li>\n<li>Make your payment by following the instructions<\/li>\n<li>Keep your payment receipt and the associated QR Code as proof of payment at Denpasar airport or Benoa port.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note that this <strong>tax is due on each entry<\/strong> on Balinese territory and does not apply to other parts of Indonesia. Here is the list of visa holders for whom the tax is not applicable:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diplomatic or official visa<\/li>\n<li>Crew visa<\/li>\n<li>Holders of temporary or permanent residence permits<\/li>\n<li>Family reunion visa<\/li>\n<li>Student Visa<\/li>\n<li>Golden Visa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>However, they will still have to visit the <strong>Love Bali<\/strong> to formalize their exemption.<\/p>\n<h3>What about tourists with a visa on arrival?<\/h3>\n<p>Travelers holding a visa on arrival (<em>Visa on Arrival<\/em>) or an online electronic visa application (e-Visa) are also subject to payment of the fee. <em><strong>Love Bali<\/strong><\/em>.
