The new system will enable visitors to manage their legal procedures entirely online, from any connected device. If the eVisa copies the concept of the tourist card, it will be valid for up to 90 days, extendable on site for the same period.<\/p>\n<h3>Little information at the moment<\/h3>\n<p>No price has yet been leaked, but the country has no interest in going much further than the 25 USD already charged for the tourist card, when we see the outcry over the increase in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visamundi.co\/en\/blog\/sri-lanka-single-entry-visa\/\">electronic visa for Sri Lanka<\/a> following the abandonment of the ETA. Another fateful question: <em>how will travelers be able to pay, given that most Western banks refuse to make payments to establishments with direct or indirect relations with Cuba? Or via local embassies or approved travel agencies?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>If we are to believe the Minister's screenshots, the eVisa will take the form of a <strong>QR Code<\/strong> to be shown on your phone or printed out. No one knows whether the travel declaration <strong>D'Viajeros<\/strong> (required for entry into the country) must always be completed, despite the similarity of the information requested.<\/p>\n<p><strong>One final uncertainty: will this allow travellers to visit the USA without difficulty?<\/strong> In fact, if you have visited Cuba since 2021, you must apply for a classic U.S. visa instead of the very practical <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visamundi.co\/en\/destinations\/usa\/\">ESTA<\/a>. Hundreds of thousands of European ESTAs have been rejected because of this. <em>Some clever travelers asked for stamps on loose-leaf cards on arrival in Cuba \ud83d\ude05<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Cuban tourism struggles to recover<\/h2>\n<p>By 2023, although tourism in Cuba was growing, it had not yet fully recovered from the after-effects of various international factors.
