{"id":6251,"date":"2022-04-25T11:36:06","date_gmt":"2022-04-25T09:36:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visamundi.fr\/?p=6251"},"modified":"2022-04-25T11:36:06","modified_gmt":"2022-04-25T09:36:06","slug":"thailand-end-of-testgo-and-sandbox-programs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.visamundi.co\/en\/blog\/thailande-fin-des-programmes-testgo-et-bac-a-sable\/","title":{"rendered":"Thailand: end of Test&amp;Go and Sandbox programs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We've all been waiting for it: the meeting of the Thai government's Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) on Friday April 22 brought good news!<\/p>\n<p><strong>The government has announced the end of the Test &amp; Go and Sandbox programs from May 1, 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The opening up of the country to foreign travellers and the revival of tourism will therefore be able to really take off, which is a good thing for the country, whose economy is in decline. <strong>tourism accounted for 20% of its GDP before the health crisis.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be able to stay in Thailand, here is what travelers will be asked to do as of May 1:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>For vaccinated travellers :<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is still compulsory to apply for and obtain a Thailand Pass;<\/li>\n<li>Attach a copy of the vaccination certificate and proof of Covid-19 insurance with coverage of at least 10,000 USD;<\/li>\n<li>\ud83d\udd3a No test is required on arrival;<\/li>\n<li>Travelers are advised to undergo an antigen test (ATK) during their stay in Thailand. If the test is positive, they will need to undergo treatment covered by their insurance;<\/li>\n<li>L<em>eople who come into close contact with infected individuals should isolate themselves for five days, and monitor their symptoms for a further five days. ATK tests should be carried out on the fifth and tenth day after contact with Covid-19 cases.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>For unvaccinated travellers:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Obtain a Thailand Pass and present a negative RT-PCR result performed within 72 hours prior to departure, as well as proof of $10,000 Covid-19 insurance;<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>OR WELL<\/strong><\/span> obtain a Thailand Pass, present proof of Covid-19 insurance of 10,000 $ and reserve 5 days in an alternative quarantine facility;<\/li>\n<li>On arrival, remain in the alternative quarantine system and undergo an RT-PCR test on the fourth or fifth day;<\/li>\n<li>Travelers are advised to undergo an antigenic test (ATK) during their stay in Thailand.
