In particular, it offers free visas on arrival for citizens of all countries for a period of 30 days (<i>equivalent to a visa exemption<\/i>). The countries concerned include many members of the African Union, the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie and the Commonwealth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Rwanda's new visa regime came into force as soon as it was published. <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Our aim? To welcome international travelers in the best possible conditions. <\/span><span class=\"s1\"><b>87 countries involved<\/b>\u00a0by this free 30-day visa on arrival.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Tourism is a growing industry in Rwanda and represents a major source of revenue for the country. For several years now, Rwanda has been striving to develop sustainable tourism that emphasizes nature conservation, preservation of local culture and community economic development.<\/p>\n<p>The country has a rich natural diversity, including national parks home to iconic species such as mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, elephants, lions and leopards. In addition, Rwanda boasts a rich traditional culture, with traditional dances, songs and folk stories.<\/p>\n<p>Tourism in Rwanda has developed around a number of attractions that are attracting more and more travelers. Among the region's main tourist attractions are visits to gorillas in their natural habitat and safaris in national parks, notably the Volcanoes National Park.
