This expansion now includes 3 new ports of entry: the international airport of <strong>Zhengzhou Xinzheng<\/strong> in Henan province, the international airport of <strong>Lijiang Sanyi<\/strong> and the railway port of <strong>Mohan<\/strong> in Yunnan province.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Residence requirements and eligible countries<\/h2>\n<p>The 144-hour visa-free transit policy allows nationals of 54 countries to transit through certain Chinese ports without a visa, provided they are en route to a third country. Travelers must hold a confirmed ticket for an onward flight to a destination other than the one from which they came.
