The aim of this decision is to mobilize a coordinated global response to the growing threat of Mpox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mpox health form details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mpox health form introduced by Myanmar, to be completed by all travellers on arrival, includes several sections designed to assess the risk of importing the virus:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Personal information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Full name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Date of birth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passport number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nationality<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Country of residence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Travel history<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Countries visited in the last 21 days<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dates of stay in each country<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reason for trip (tourism, business, humanitarian, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Risk assessment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contact with confirmed or suspected cases of Mpox<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participation in high-risk gatherings or events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visits to forested areas or contact with wild animals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Current state of health<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Presence of symptoms compatible with Mpox (fever, rash, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relevant medical history<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/myanmarbsb.org\/_site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Mpox-Health-Declaration-Form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"656\" height=\"899\" src=\"https:\/\/www.visamundi.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Screenshot-2024-09-16-at-15.23.12.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7018908\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.visamundi.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Screenshot-2024-09-16-at-15.23.12.png 656w, https:\/\/www.visamundi.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Screenshot-2024-09-16-at-15.23.12-219x300.png 219w, https:\/\/www.visamundi.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Screenshot-2024-09-16-at-15.23.12-9x12.png 9w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 656px) 100vw, 656px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Mpox form to be completed on arrival<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Associated control measures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the health form, Myanmar has implemented additional control measures:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Systematic temperature control on arrival<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visual inspection of travelers for skin rashes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Immediate isolation of suspected cases for in-depth medical assessment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Implications for travelers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before arriving in Myanmar, travelers must now take extra time to complete the Mpox health form.
