Is this due to the severe flooding in the country? The extra time will allow the authorities to fine-tune the system and ensure a smooth transition for all concerned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deployment of ETA was to take place in 3 distinct phases between now and summer 2025, when ETA would become mandatory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical specifications of the ETA system<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application process<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The ETA application process will take place entirely online via the official portal <strong>https:\/\/evisa.go.th<\/strong>. Once approved, the authorization will be valid for 60 days from the date of issue. Travelers will be able to make multiple entries into Thailand during this period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Countries affected by ETA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The ETA will apply to nationals of <strong>93 countries<\/strong> and territories currently benefiting from visa-free travel to Thailand.
