Uzbekistan recently revised its passport validity requirements for travelers from visa-exempt countries. Prior to this change, it was sufficient for travelers' passports to be valid on the date of entry into Uzbek territory. Important change in passport validity requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Until now, nationals of several countries, including France, Germany, the UK, the USA, etc., could enter Uzbekistan without a visa for stays of up to 30 days, provided their passport was valid at the time of entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In other words, the passport only had to be valid on arrival in the country. However, under the new rule, passports must now be valid for at least 6 months. beyond departure date<\/strong> of Uzbekistan. This means that passengers leaving the country on July 1 must ensure that their passports do not expire before January 2 of the following year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The introduction of this requirement is designed to enhance security and harmonize standards with international practices.
