It is crucial to take note of the following important dates :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Entry deadline<\/strong> in Saudi Arabia for Umrah visa holders: <strong>April 13, 2025<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Release date<\/strong> Saudi territory for pilgrims: <strong>April 29, 2025<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Umrah visas are valid until April 13, 2025, as opposed to the previous one-year validity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What about April?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>By April 2025, <strong>only tourist visas will be issued<\/strong>and will only apply to <strong>French, European and American passports<\/strong>. This measure enables foreign passport holders to obtain a tourist visa instead of an Umrah visa. It is therefore possible to apply for a tourist visa to travel to Saudi Arabia with a foreign passport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conditions for obtaining a tourist visa remain in force:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Passport: must be valid for at least 6 months after the planned return date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Residence permit: must be valid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passport photo: a recent photo on a white background is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>When to leave the country before the Hajj?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a strict deadline for leaving Saudi Arabia. All travellers must leave Saudi Arabia <strong>no later than April 29, 2025<\/strong>. After this date, it will no longer be possible to perform the Umrah.
