To remedy this problem, the authorities have extended payment options. From now on, it will be possible to pay the tax directly at some of the Bali's most popular tourist sites<\/strong>These include the temples of Uluwatu and Tanah Lot, particularly during checks carried out by tourism officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials acknowledge that much remains to be done to effectively inform tourists of this obligation. Many international arrivals are still unaware that they are required to pay this tax. tax, intended to preserve Balinese culture, protect the environment and improve infrastructure<\/strong>.
