Yet figures show that just 35 % of tourists actually paid this tax in the first year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Digitization and new payment points<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the main obstacles identified is <strong>lack of accessible payment points<\/strong>. Although the <a href=\"https:\/\/lovebali.baliprov.go.id\/\">LoveBali website and app<\/a> can be used to pay the tax at any time, but few visitors are aware of this option. From now on, it will be possible to pay the tax directly at some of the <strong>Bali's most popular tourist sites<\/strong>These include the temples of Uluwatu and Tanah Lot, particularly during checks carried out by tourism officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Faced with an unexpected budget deficit, the provincial government <strong>speeds up the introduction of new payment points<\/strong>These include the Buleleng region in the north of the island, home to sites such as Lovina Beach, the Munduk waterfalls and the West Bali National Park. Twenty new <strong>electronic payment points and ticketing systems have been installed at the region's major attractions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Digitization aims to <strong>simplify payment for tourists<\/strong>This modernization also extends to tourist experiences, such as the dolphin-watching outings at Lovina, which will serve as a pilot project for e-ticketing. Many international arrivals are still unaware that they are required to pay this tax. <strong>tax, intended to preserve Balinese culture, protect the environment and improve infrastructure<\/strong>.
