It is part of a broader policy of international openness already applied to several other nationalities, notably those from Gulf countries recently integrated into the visa-free regime. With this initiative, Uzbekistan is also seeking to strengthen its position on the world tourism scene and attract more foreign tourists, while signalling its openness to investment and academic cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Towards a bilateral agreement with the United States?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Uzbek authorities hope that this policy will also promote a rebalancing of travel conditions for their citizens. <strong>to the United States<\/strong>Uzbekistan, where procedures are still restrictive for Uzbeks.
