Today, 36 nationalities can obtain an electronic visa within a maximum of 72 hours. Soon, 60 nationalities should be eligible to obtain this e-Visa. The time required to obtain a visa will be reduced from 72 to 48 hours. This is a new development for Mongolia, as it will facilitate travel formalities and bring the country into line with other countries where e-Visa is widely available. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, many French, Korean and British citizens were applying for e-Visa.
