Kyrgyzstan has become a popular destination for many business travelers and tourists from all over the world. If you're planning to visit this Central Asian country, you need to be aware of the different visa requirements.
Exempted and eligible nationalities
Certain nationalities are exempt from visa requirements when visiting Kyrgyzstan for tourism or business purposes. Length of stay and validity of e-Visa
The e-Visa for tourism and business in Kyrgyzstan we offer is valid for 90 days from the date of issue, for a maximum stay of 30 days. If you contact the authorities, an option for multiple entries and stays of up to 60 days is available.
Stays over 60 days
For tourist stays of over 60 days, a visa is generally required and must be applied for at the Kyrgyz embassy or consulate in your country. Be sure to check the requirements for your specific nationality.
Documents required to obtain an e-Visa
In order to apply for an e-visa to Kyrgyzstan, you must provide certain documents. The main documents required include:
- A valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months after the date of entry into Kyrgyzstan
- A color copy of the identity page of your passport
- A copy of airline tickets
- Localitinerary
- Proof of accommodation for all nights
The transit e-Visa is also perfect for crossing the country without needing a long-term visa. You can stay in Kyrgyzstan for up to 5 days. Please note if you stop over in the country - even even without leaving the international transit zone! - you need to apply for a transit e-Visa.
