Only tourists can apply for an East Africa Visa with entry via Rwanda. All other purposes are strictly forbidden.

Once your application has been finalized, you will need to send us a copy of your passport, along with a copy of your nominative hotel reservations , a copy of your travel itinerary and your yellow fever vaccination booklet .

Vaccination against yellow fever is compulsory if you are traveling from a country where it is endemic. Vaccinations against typhoid fever and hepatitis A and B are recommended. For more information, you can ask a doctor or contact a travel vaccination center.

Each visa is valid for 90 days from the date of entry into Rwanda. You have 90 days after its issue to use it.

You have 90 days to use your e-Visa.

You must not exceed the maximum stay of 90 days between all the countries covered by the East Africa Visa(Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda).

TheEast African Visa allows you to travel between these 3 countries. You can enter through Rwanda and continue your journey, the visa will be multiple entry between the 3 countries.

Your passport must be valid for 6 months from the departure date of your trip between the 3 countries.

In addition to your personal details, we ask for information about your accommodation in Rwanda, your marital status, the names of your parents and spouse, the places you will be visiting, the place of arrival and whether you have already visited Rwanda on previous trips.

The East Africa Visa is a multiple-entry visa valid for 90 days.

You will be required to provide a document concerning your accommodation, and you will need to give us the address of this accommodation in Rwanda.

It is preferable to print your electronic travel authorization in color.

You can apply for a transit e-Visa, but it can also be issued free of charge on arrival in Rwanda.

Certain African (Central African) and Asian nationals are exempt from visa requirements for travel to Rwanda. If you do not qualify for visa exemption, all nationalities can apply for an e-Visa or obtain a visa on arrival in Rwanda.

All eligible nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival in Rwanda. Please note, however, that you may have to wait a long time for your visa to be issued, and you may be charged for your means of payment.

Nationals of these 3 countries can travel without a visa for up to 6 months. If you come from anEast African Visa member country, your visa will be issued free of charge on arrival in Rwanda.

We recommend that you contact a local immigration office to request a visa extension.

As the exact date of arrival in Rwanda is important for the validity of your e-Visa, we advise you to send us your application as soon as your trip is well planned and you know the official date of your arrival in Rwanda.
