Mutual Visa Exemption Between Albania and Azerbaijan Takes Effect
Azerbaijan and Albania abolish visa requirements for ordinary passport holders following a landmark agreement signed in March 2024.
On 1 March 2024, following a meeting between Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Fariz Rzayev and his Albanian counterpart Besart Kadia, an agreement was signed to abolish visa requirements between Azerbaijan and Albania. The accord means holders of ordinary passports from both countries will no longer need a visa to travel between them.
