The Saudi government has announced the introduction of an electronic visa for holders of FIFA Club World Cup 2023which will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This initiative aims to simplify administrative procedures for international fans wishing to attend the matches, and to offer a unique experience at this major sporting event.
With Saudi Arabia tipped to host the 2034 World Cup, this e-Visa could be a good test. Most of the nations that have hosted this competition have implemented a similar approach (Hayya Card in Qatar, Fan Card in Russia, etc.).
Steps to obtain an electronic visa
- Fans will need to purchase tickets for the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup matches.
- Then they must visit the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs website (visa.mofa.gov.sa) to apply for an electronic visa (cost of USD 10.50 or 10 €) with their personal details and those of the trip.
- After filling in the required information, fans will receive their visa in electronic form by e-mail.

The FIFA Club World Cup 2023 will be held from December 12 to 22.
