A new destination for Nomamundi: Colombia
Nomamundi, the remote work visa service from Visamundi, expands to Colombia offering entrepreneurs and digital nomads a streamlined path to stay and work in the vibrant South American country.
The shift to remote work has encouraged several French brands to invest in services that support the trend, which became deeply embedded in daily life after the pandemic.
Visamundi is among the agencies specializing in remote work support. Its latest initiative, Nomamundi, offers professionals a streamlined way to secure visas for working abroad. Let’s take a closer look at what this sought-after program offers in France and beyond.
Nomamundi: the new Visamundi service
Visamundi has established itself as a leader in electronic visa services in France, having successfully issued over 80,000 visas. The agency now supports remote workers by simplifying administrative processes. The Nomamundi project is its newest offering—a dedicated program designed to help professionals secure remote work visas.
All about the Nomamundi project
Officially launched in September 2022, Nomamundi gives remote workers access to six global destinations to attract more digital professionals. Among them:
Bahamas — where the BEATS visa allows stays of up to one year, letting remote workers enjoy the country’s natural beauty.
Cabo Verde — popular with remote workers through the Remote Working Cabo Verde visa, enabling stays of 6 months to a year amid stunning landscapes.
Mauritius — regularly ranked as one of the world’s best remote work visa destinations.
Seychelles — accessible via the Seychelles Workcation Visitor Permit, known for its high-quality services and peaceful environment.
Taiwan — where Nomamundi assists in securing the Gold Card visa, making it easier for remote professionals to live and work there.
Dubai — offered under the Virtual Working Program, allowing stays with year-round sunshine.
With Nomamundi, securing a remote work visa is fast, transparent, and tailored to your needs.
Who can benefit from a remote work visa?
The service is open to entrepreneurs, employees, freelancers, and other professionals, provided they obtain prior approval from their employers. They must also work in fields compatible with remote operations.
The Colombian remote work visa: a fresh addition to Nomamundi’s portfolio
Colombia has emerged as one of the latest countries welcoming digital nomads. The government introduced a dedicated remote work visa in October 2022. Medellín, already a hub for tech talent, has long attracted remote workers drawn to its lower cost of living and strong digital infrastructure—and other Colombian cities are now following suit.
This visa initiative aims to formalize the entry of digital nomads into the country. Under Resolución 5477 de 2022, a digital nomad is defined as a professional providing remote work services—whether as an employee or independent contractor—for a foreign company.
