Current entry measures have been designed to simplify travel for international visitors. Most nationalities can enter the Philippines visa-free for temporary stays of up to 30 or 59 days, depending on their country of origin. If your itinerary exceeds this period, the government has introduced an online portal where travelers can apply for an electronic visa (e-Visa). Depending on your travel purpose—whether tourism, business, or medical treatment—you can secure e-Visa authorization before departure for extended stays.
Who qualifies for visa-free entry?
Visa-free entry for up to 30 days applies to visitors from the vast majority of countries, particularly across Europe, Oceania, the Americas, and Asia.
Exceptions include travelers from the following countries:
Brazil and Israel: visa-free for 59 days
Hong Kong, India, Macau, Portugal, and Taiwan: visa-free for 14 days
United Kingdom: visa-free for 7 days
Understanding the Philippines e-Visa
Travelers who fall under the visa-exemption scheme but need to stay longer than the allowed duration can apply for an electronic visa (e-Visa). Not all nationalities are currently eligible, but authorities are gradually expanding access. You can check your eligibility via the official e-Visa portal: evisa.gov.ph/.
As of September 2025, passport holders from the following countries may apply for an e-Visa: France, Monaco, Greece, Cyprus, North Macedonia, the Netherlands, and Austria.
Eligible nationalities also include: Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, India, Kenya, Nigeria, and the United Arab Emirates.

The Philippines offers various non-immigrant visas, each with different processing fees based on travel purpose. Common visitor visas in the Temporary Visitor category include:
