How is the recovery shaping up for you and your clients?

Our first thanks go to all the professionals who took time to share their insights in this survey.

Understanding their outlook and fresh traveler priorities post-pandemic was vital in mapping how tourism might evolve over the coming months.

Highlights include:

  • Half of respondents never wavered in their commitment to the profession and did not consider changing careers

  • 38.3 % reported that border reopenings only moderately boosted bookings, with Europe remaining the top destination for 86.4 % of travelers

  • The top trip-killer cited by 84.5 % of respondents was shifting health-policy mandates

  • 85.9 % of tourism pros currently offer—or mandate—travel-insurance enrollment for every client since the pandemic

  • One-third of survey-takers have seen a new client segment since the crisis, 75 % of whom are traveling solo
