Visamundi partners with Holiworking to boost travel experiences
Visamundi teams up with Holiworking to offer international remote work and bleisure travel solutions, enhancing real-time destination insights for seamless employee experiences.
Our e-travel document editing agency has partnered with the promising start-up Holiworking, which helps companies send employees on international remote work assignments to enjoy a true “bleisure” experience (business + leisure).
We met with our new partners to ask about the vision and benefits of this collaboration for both individual consumers and business travelers.

Can you briefly introduce your company and its main mission?
Holiworking was founded in 2020 based on a key observation: it is increasingly difficult to align employees’ desires for remote work mobility with companies’ needs for talent retention and recruitment.
To address this, we created a packaged solution for short-term expatriation assignments for employees, ranging from 6 to 12 months in dream destinations. This ensures seamless professional continuity through remote work while avoiding additional costs for employers—making it a true employer branding tool.
Our belief is that international exposure fosters growth, broadens perspectives, and builds skills—and that remote work is not a passing trend but a long-term shift in how we work.
Why did you choose Visamundi for this exclusive collaboration?
The partnership developed naturally through exchanges with Sébastien, the founder of Visamundi. Seeking a tool to provide up-to-date, exhaustive health and safety information for each destination in our portfolio—and regularly updated—Visamundi’s API perfectly aligned with our needs.
How will the collaboration between Holiworking and Visamundi benefit end consumers and travel professionals?
The Holiworking experience aims to be more than just a professional stint; it’s a life experience with deep human, cultural, and touristic dimensions.
In this way, it offers an alternative to mass tourism by encouraging Holiworkers to explore the gems of their chosen destination deeply, immersed in local communities over an extended period.
By collaborating with Visamundi, we enhance the customer experience (both private and B2B) and support the tourism industry by building closer ties with local ecosystems.
What are your medium or long-term goals for this partnership?
Our priority is to serve our clients best by providing high-quality, real-time information that improves their travel experiences. We also hope this collaboration will help showcase the strengths of Nantes-based startups, already recognized across France.
Given the ongoing pandemic, how do you see the future of tourism—both leisure and business—over the coming months and years?
Like many sectors, we believe the future lies in less travel, but better travel. People will likely travel less often but for longer durations, gaining deeper knowledge of places, cultures, and local ecosystems—both natural and social.
