The Hong Kong International Airport now offers free guided layover tours for transit passengers with long stops—discover heritage, culture, and local life.
The Hong Kong International Airport is rolling out a new program to enhance the transit experience for travelers: complimentary guided city tours that let visitors explore the city during extended layovers, turning layover time into a memorable cultural adventure.
Available to all passengers whose connection exceeds seven hours, this initiative is the result of a partnership between the Airport Authority Hong Kong and Trip.com. The goal? To transform HKIA into a global transit hub that also offers a gateway to Hong Kong’s cultural richness and diversity.

Choose Your Tour
Two thematic itineraries are currently available:
Heritage and Local Lifestyle Citywalk (12:00–16:00): Visit the Wong Tai Sin Temple followed by an immersion in the vibrant Sham Shui Po district, known for its bustling markets and authentic charm.
Victoria & West Kowloon Waterfront Journey (17:30–21:30): Explore the cultural heart of West Kowloon, then stroll down the Avenue of Stars for breathtaking views of Victoria Harbour’s city lights.
Each tour includes round-trip transfers between the airport and your destination, access to multilingual guides (English, Mandarin, Cantonese), and all entry fees. Participants also benefit from expedited immigration clearance to ensure an easy return and timely reboarding before their next flight.

An onward connection of more than seven hours;
