Jamaica’s new online entry form: What travelers need to know

Jamaica has moved to a digital immigration form since September 1, 2023. Discover how to complete it, entry requirements, and visa-exempt nationalities for smooth travel.

Since September 1, 2023, all travelers arriving in Jamaica are required to complete a digital entry form. This streamlined process aligns with global digital travel trends while simplifying arrival procedures for incoming visitors.

Why use Jamaica’s digital entry form?

Previously, airlines distributed paper immigration forms to passengers during flights. Now, travelers must submit their information in advance via enterjamaica.com — no filling out documents mid-air or at the airport. Jamaica’s digital transformation means less stress and more efficiency for everyone.

This initiative speeds up immigration processing at Jamaican airports and reflects a broader global shift toward paperless travel procedures, according to Donovan White, Jamaica’s Director of Tourism.

How to complete the online entry form

To obtain your digital entry form before traveling to Jamaica, follow these steps:

  • Visit the enterjamaica.com portal;

  • Enter the required details: full name, date of birth, gender, contact information, occupation, passport number, issuing authority, intended Jamaican address, countries visited in the past six weeks, flight number, departure airport, arrival date, purpose of visit, length of stay, number of bags, and names of accompanying family members;

  • Submit the completed form online;

  • You may submit your form up to 30 days prior to your arrival in Jamaica.

Plan ahead to avoid last-minute stress

While the form can technically be submitted before or during travel, filling it out in advance ensures a smoother journey. Avoid the rush of completing it on the plane or after landing by submitting your information early — giving you peace of mind for a more enjoyable trip.
