Visamundi launches 'Rappel', a free tool to remind travelers to submit arrival cards

Visamundi introduces 'Rappel', a free email service that automatically detects flight details and sends arrival card submission reminders to avoid last-minute travel complications.

Forwarding your flight confirmation by email is all it takes to never miss the window to submit an arrival card. Visamundi has launched this free service today.

Online arrival cards are now a mandatory step for entering an increasing number of countries. From Colombia to Malaysia and Singapore, each destination enforces its own rules—and its own deadlines. Some countries require travelers to submit their arrival card just days before landing; others impose strict 72-hour windows. Unfortunately, these short deadlines are often overlooked until passengers reach check-in, sometimes too late.

That’s exactly the problem "Rappel" tackles. Once users forward their booking confirmation to reminder@arrival-cards.com, the system identifies the destination, extracts flight details and arrival date, then sends a personalized reminder at the exact moment the card can be submitted. The service supports major booking platforms such as Air France, Ryanair, Booking.com, and Google Flights—covering the vast majority of reservation sources on the market.

While the notification service is completely free of charge, travelers can opt to have their arrival card filled out by the arrival-cards.com team for a nominal fee of €29 TTC per card. As always with sensitive personal data like flight confirmations, Visamundi emphasizes that all information is encrypted and deleted after travel, in full compliance with GDPR.

Additional countries including Cambodia, Indonesia, and the Dominican Republic are set to join the growing list of supported destinations over the coming months.

Service proves timely as India phases out paper arrival cards from April 1st.

MCP Server for Travel Professionals

Visamundi also provides travel platforms, agencies, and tour operators managing large reservation volumes with an MCP server (Model Context Protocol, the open standard from Anthropic that lets AI agents connect to third‑party services).

In practical terms, any AI assistant integrated with MCP can query entry policies and issue arrival‑card requests directly—without leaving its environment. Setup requires only a few lines of code. For more traditional integrations, Visamundi offers a classic REST API that pays partners up to 20 % commission per processed card.
