U.S. Visa Update: New Requirement for Moroccan Applicants
Morocco-based applicants must ensure their DS-160 confirmation barcode matches the one used for online appointment scheduling or risk visa interview denial starting March 24.
Since March 24, the U.S. Embassy in Morocco has implemented a new requirement for visa applicants. It is now mandatory that the confirmation barcode (starting with "AA") on Form DS-160 exactly matches the one used when scheduling an appointment online.
If the barcode on your DS-160 form does not match the one used to book your appointment, access to the interview will be denied—and you will need to reschedule to proceed with your visa application.
The U.S. Embassy in Morocco emphasizes the importance of verifying in advance that the DS-160 barcode matches the one used to reserve your appointment. This precaution will help avoid delays and ensure a smooth process.
For new appointment requests, the U.S. Embassy provides this link. From this site, you can access all details regarding a non-immigrant visa for temporary stay or an immigrant visa for permanent residency. Any foreign citizen ineligible for the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) and wishing to enter the United States must first obtain a visa.

For short stays of up to 90 days and if you are a national of a Visa Waiver Program-eligible country, you may apply for ESTA instead.
In short: double-check that your DS-160 information matches your appointment details to prevent any issues during your visa application.
