Thailand’s New E-Visa Fees for Indian Citizens: 2026 Tariff Update
Thailand’s new 2026 e-visa fee schedule for Indian applicants takes effect 27 April 2026, including sharp increases for long-stay and digital nomad visas. Comprehensive fee tables, eligibility rules and Thailand Digital Arrival Card insights included.
Effective today, 27 April 2026, Thailand has officially rolled out a major revision of e-visa and consular service fees for Indian applicants. Announced by the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi, the tariff hike forms part of a wider Thai government drive to restructure its global entry policies.

Why the increase and who does it affect?
The adjustment raises revenue to help modernise Thai consular infrastructure. Although applied to applications lodged in India, it signals a broader trend: immigration costs to Thailand are rising for non-OECD travellers worldwide.
Indian passport holders currently enjoy visa-free entry for short tourist stays. The updated schedule therefore only applies to Indian nationals requiring a stamp-type visa—whether for specific stays, multiple-entry permits, or relocation.
