The Sultanate of Oman remains closed to foreign travelers until further notice. However, the authorities have communicated about e-Visas and their validity.
Are you still in Oman, but unable to return home because your flight was cancelled? You must request a visa extension by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
The Sultanate has already extended valid visas twice. However, it has now announced that all tourist visas issued between March 1 and August 31, 2020 will be reissued with a new validity period until March 31, 2021.
