After suspending the online visa procedure for a long period due to the global pandemic, the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the return of the Type E Visa.
What is a type E visa?
It corresponds to the Business Visa. People wishing to travel to Cambodia for business, internships, work or journalism can apply for a visa online at portal for this purpose.
Professionals must enclose the following supporting documents: a certificate of employment, an internship agreement or a letter of sponsorship from a Cambodian company, and a passport valid for 6 months after the date of arrival.
What are the features of this visa?
The visa allows a single entry into the country. Once your document has been issued, you have 3 months to travel to Cambodia for a stay of up to 30 days. To apply for a type E visa, you will need to pay 42 USD. You can extend the validity of your visa on site.
On the other hand, the mandatory quarantine of 14 days on arrival remains mandatory for the time being.
