The borders had been partially open since July 15, 2020, but since September 6, Morocco has once again welcomed visa-exempt tourists and business travelers. The only requirement is a confirmed hotel reservation or invitation from a Moroccan company. It's official: the French are welcome.
Beware, however, of business travelers who, according to Royal Air Maroc, must provide printed, signed and sealed business invitations on Moroccan company letterhead. Please consult the many criteria to be met.
In terms of air travel, scheduled flights to and from Morocco are suspended. However, the airlines Royal Air Maroc, Air Arabia, Air France and Transavia are authorized to schedule special flights. Tickets can be booked through the usual channels or on their respective websites.
When boarding, you'll need to present the results of two tests: a negative RT-PCR virological test less than 48 hours old, and a recent serological test. Only children under the age of 11 are exempt from these tests.
