Covid-19 PCR test: necessary for travel, but for which countries?

We are gradually hearing talk of possible border opening dates for certain countries, despite a possible new peak in the epidemic this autumn.

Countries are counting on the return of tourism to boost their economies.

Some destinations have therefore decided to take sanitary measures to reopen their borders as quickly as possible, without taking any risks, to avoid the arrival of potentially infected travellers. The presentation of a negative screening test for Covid-19, carried out in the country of departure, will therefore be the "free pass" for certain countries.

Like France, which applies this new procedure between metropolitan and overseas France (with the exception of French Guiana and Mayotte, where the state of health emergency has been extended until October 30 inclusive).

Here are a few destinations where a negative Covid-19 PCR test is required: Rwanda, South Korea, Cyprus, Greece, Iceland, Belgium, Madeira and Tunisia.
