Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly declared on Monday March 02, at a meeting with the Egyptian Cabinet and officials from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, that Egyptian visas and e-visas, initially extendable for up to 90 days, are now extendable for up to 5 years!
Good news in the world of tourism, as Egypt proves that it is continuing to win back tourists.
A visa is required to enter Egypt, and can be obtained from an Egyptian consulate on arrival in Egypt, or via the Internet at official website or at VISAMUNDI a specialized agency that handles all your travel formalities.
The e-tourist visa is valid for one entry, for 3 months, but you can only stay in the country for one month.
However, it is possible to extend your stay by going to the immigration office in Egypt, you could then only stretch it up to 90 days but on Monday, the Egyptian Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, announced that the visa could now be extended up to 5 years, so you can make the most of Egypt and its treasures!
