After several months of stoppage to limit the spread of Covid-19, Saudi Arabia is once again welcoming international travelers.
Saudi Arabia ended the suspension of its international traffic on January 3, 2021. Airports and seaports have resumed traffic. In opening the Kingdom to international travelers, Saudi Arabia is keen to preserve its measures to minimize the spread of Covid-19. International travelers will have to respect the seven-day quarantine. However, they can be released from quarantine three days later if their PCR test is negative.
After the appearance of a new strain of Covid-19, countries affected by it will be subject to stricter measures.
The Kingdom stipulates that "any foreign passenger wishing to enter Saudi Arabia from the United Kingdom, South Africa, or any other country determined by the Ministry of Health, must spend at least 14 days outside the country affected by the mutated virus before entering Saudi territory".
