THE Kuwait has recently launched a new electronic visa (e-visa)This marks an important step in the country's strategy to modernize its digital infrastructure and strengthen its international connectivity. This initiative aims to facilitate and accelerate entry procedures for both travelers and residents, while supporting the country's ambition to become a regional center for tourism, trade, investment and international cooperation..
Modernization of electronic visas (e-Visa)
The official platform now offers four types of visaeach tailored to specific needs:
- Tourist visa : For stays of up to 90 days.
- Family visa Valid for 30 days, it allows residents to invite family members for short stays.
- Business Visa Also valid for 30 days, for professionals taking part in meetings or negotiations.
- Official visa Reserved for diplomats and delegations on government business.
All procedures are carried out online, with eligibility conditions and the steps to follow clearly detailed. This fully digital system reduces processing times, offering a simplified experience for users.
The "Kuwait Visa" mobile application allows you to check the status of your application. When your e-Visa is approved, it will be available on the app.

Nationalities eligible for e-Visa
Currently, 53 countries and territories can apply for visa on arrival or fill in the electronic visa formif they arrive in Kuwait, by plane.
- Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bhutan, Brunei, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Laos, South Korea, Spain, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States and Vatican City.
A unified tourist visa for Gulf countries
In addition, travellers interested in regional tours are invited to closely follow the visa Grand Tours du CCG (Gulf Cooperation Council), a future single permit to travel in six Gulf countries (United Arab Emirates ๐ฆ๐ช, Saudi Arabia ๐ธ๐ฆ, Bahrain ๐ง๐ญ, Qatar ๐ถ๐ฆ, Oman ๐ด๐ฒ and Kuwait ๐ฐ๐ผ.)
