The country is launching its electronic visa on a new version of its national travel platform.
This measure comes after the Togolese government announced last February its intention to digitizing visa processes and residence permits for international travelers.
In particular, the new platform will enable travellers to :
- complete their immigration form (mandatory for all entry and exit)
- declare their vaccination status
- and/or register for a PCR test for non-vaccinated citizens
The platform also provides a number of functions such as :
- an online "Visa Assistant
- a user space for saving frequently requested travel information
- the possibility of making group requests
It should be noted that the platform and support systems currently in place at air borders will progressively be extended to the rest of the world. extended to land and sea borders in 2022according to the country's public authorities.
Finally, payment for travel to and from Togo can be made online. Everything has been designed so that travelers can quickly and easily complete all the formalities required for their trip.
This saves time and makes travel formalities safer and more worry-free.
