Electronic Visa (e-Visa)
Since April 2023, Cameroon introduces an electronic visa system (e-Visa) to simplify and speed up the application process. Applicants can submit their documents online via the Cameroon Ministry's official portal. Once the application has been approved, an electronic visa is issued, enabling travelers to embark from any country.
Required documents
To obtain a long-stay visa, applicants must provide the following documents:
- Passport valid for at least 6 months from date of departure
- Legalized invitation to Cameroon or accommodation certificate
- Photocopy of airline ticket or flight reservation
- Photocopy of yellow fever vaccination certificate
- For children, a photocopy of the birth certificate, signed authorization from both parents, and photocopies of the parents' passports or identity cards.
