Residence requirements and eligible countries
The 144-hour visa-free transit policy allows nationals of 54 countries to transit through certain Chinese ports without a visa, provided they are en route to a third country. Travelers must hold a confirmed ticket for an onward flight to a destination other than the one from which they came.
